Diane Thornton profile picture

Artist and illustrator Diane Thornton left behind 30 years in graphic design to concentrate on her art and writing. As a fine artist, she focuses on botanicals, island images, geometric abstracts, and illustrative fine art. She works in watercolor-and-ink, acrylics, and mixed media. "I simply make art that makes me happy. When it makes other people happy, that makes me even happier," she says. "There is nothing more exciting than finding a new style and art method." She moved from Keaau, Hawaii, to Temecula, California, in January 2019.
