Dixon’s artwork ranges from painting to theatre scenic design.  However, since his high school art teacher had the students make their own silkscreen, he has loved printmaking.   

Dixon has a Masters Degree in Fine Arts from Arizona State University.  He has taught studio art, art history and photography at the high school and college level. His artwork has been recognized with awards both regionally and nationally. Dixon is a member of The Fallbrook Art Center, Art Guild and the Los Angeles Printmaking Society.
