Patricia Hartman (Bonsall, California)
For several years I have been busy in several artistic areas, including acrylic painting, making jewelry using dichroic glass, and, most recently, computer generated art. A few years ago, I became fascinated with three dimensional (3D) modeling applications that let you create objects to be viewable from any direction. This allows you to reuse an object (boat, person, tree) more than once, since you can later alter the appearance of an object to fit your needs. Of course, the time required to create 3D object in the first place is not trivial and represents a large time commitment. I have entered local art shows and have received several awards to show for my efforts: Honorable mention in the Computer Generated category at the FAA’s 2004 show. Best of show award in the small format show at Fallbrook Art Association’s Membership Show in 2007. Second Place award in the Computer Generated category in the FAA’s Spring 2009 Open Juried Show, First Place award in Computer Generated work at the Fallbrook Art Association show of Fine Art in Spring of 2010. Honorable Mention award at the San Diego County Fair, June, 2010 First Place in 3D modeling, Painting and Illustration at San Diego County Fair 2011. Third Place as well as two honorable mentions in 3D modeling, Painting and Illustration at San Diego County Fair 2012.
