The Café des Artistes ... celebrate Art in Food and Art in Life!

In operation for over 20 years, we are a distinguished, accessible, and welcoming nonprofit visual arts center. What makes us unique is the presentation of a wide variety of rotating exhibitions featuring works by nationally, internationally, and regionally recognized artists in a museum style setting with works for sale. We present 7 annual shows in our main exhibition space (The Janice Griffiths Gallery): World of Watercolor & Beyond, Reflections of Nature, Galaxy of Glass, Guild, Find Magnified, and Art of the Holiday as well as a new 'themed' show each season. Rotating exhibitions showcasing regional artists are presented in our adjoining galleries (The Salon Gallery and The Rosalie & Spencer Lehmann Gallery).

Our building is a former Rexall Pharmacy built in 1961. The Café des Artistes, an art-filled restaurant in the Center, still uses the historic soda fountain equipment and features a Mediterranean menu, wine, beer, specialty coffee drinks, and soda fountain treats.

Our mission statement: To provide a venue for arts exhibition and awareness to serve the varied communities of the region by providing visual art of the finest quality with related educational and interpretive programs while collaborating with our community's cultural organizations for shows and special events.
