The International Holiday Show is a festive celebration celebrating the season's spirit through a vibrant showcase of cultural traditions, art, and craftsmanship worldwide. This year's exhibition features an eclectic array of handcrafted items, ornaments, and decorations that reflect the rich diversity of holiday celebrations across different cultures. Visitors can explore unique gifts, festive decor, and artisanal creations that capture the essence of holiday cheer and cultural heritage. In addition to the marketplace, the International Holiday Show offers a variety of engaging activities, including live performances, workshops, and culinary demonstrations that invite attendees to immerse themselves in the traditions and festivities of various cultures. From music and dance to storytelling and art-making, the event fosters a sense of community and connection as people come together to celebrate the joy of the holiday season. This annual event is an excellent opportunity to shop for unique gifts and decorations and an enriching experience that promotes cultural exchange and appreciation. Whether you're looking to find the perfect holiday gift, learn about global traditions, or simply enjoy the festive atmosphere, the International Holiday Show promises to be a delightful and inspiring experience for all ages.

Prospectus

ELIGIBILITY:

  • Open to all artists emphasizing high-quality work. This is open to holiday decorations and unique gift items.  We strongly suggest a deep inventory.  Our sales in previous years have been extremely strong and we are known for this show!

  • All art submitted must be new work not previously shown at the Center.

  • Digital entries only—JPEG format only, between 1MB—5MB in size.

  • Work must have been completed in the past 2 years and not previously shown at FAC.

  • All work must be for sale (the selling price cannot be changed after entry).

SHOW TERMS:

  • Artists may submit 10 works; representative of your work and selections.

  • The Curator will make the selection for inclusion from the digital images submitted.

  • The Art Center provides display sets for the exhibition – generally, we’ll display 10 pieces per artist, but this depends on size, etc. Artists are encouraged to provide extra pieces to replace sold work (can be delivered at the beginning and/or during the run of the show). Accepted artists will receive specific delivery instructions. Inbound and outbound shipping costs are the responsibility of the Artist. Insurance is the responsibility of the artist. A 40% commission is retained by the Center on all sales. No refunds for cancellation after acceptance. Fallbrook Art Center reserves the right to withhold any work from display that does not meet established standards. We reserve the right to photograph work or copy slides for publicity purposes. Communications will be conducted via email. Send a postage paid envelope for mail notification.  

SUBMISSION DEADLINES:

  • OPEN NOW – October 15th entry deadline 

  • Notifications by: October 21, 2025

  • Accepted Work due at the Center no later than: October 22 - 23 between 11:00-2:00

  • We Open the Holiday Show EARLY this year.

SHOW CATALOG:

ACCEPTED WORKS:

  • Works may be hand delivered. Shipping fees to and from the Art Center are the responsibility of the artist. Please include pre-paid return shipping documentation. A $50 handling & storage fee will be charged for all shipped paintings (per box). FAC strongly encourages the use of the Airfloat StrongBox.

ENTRY FEE:

  • Submission: $65

  • Shipping Fee: $50

  • Handling and Storage fee will be charged for all shipped paintings (per box).

  • FAC strongly encourages the use of the Airfloat StrongBox.

SALES:

  • Exhibited works will be consigned for sale at the price submitted on the entry form.

  • FAC will handle all sales, collection, reporting, and payment of applicable sales tax.

  • 40% sales commission.

  • Artists are responsible for all governmental reporting.

INSURANCE:

  • Works selected for the exhibition are covered under FAC’s $1,000,000 Fine Art Insurance Policy for stated value less the 40% commission.

  • Substantiation of value is the responsibility of the Artist.

SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS:

  • A Maximum of 10 works may be submitted

  • Application must be completed, and entry fees paid to be considered.

  • Digital formats: JPG only, 1MB –5MB in size.

NOTIFICATIONS:

  • All artists will receive email notification of the Curators decision by July 23, 2025.
