Rita is a juried artist who has won first place in several major art competitions in 2007 and 2008. Her work is featured in the December, 2007 issue of Illustration Magazine. In 2010 ,Rita continued to be recognized for her award winning photography in addition to her oil paintings, which have won Best in Show, 1st, 2nd, 3rd and HM. Her recognition as an artist has expanded internationally.
