I am a veteran of the U.S. Army and live locally here in Fallbrook. I'm born and raised Southern California. I am an oil painter who likes to paint in a semi photo realistic style. I started painting in oil Dec. 2016.  My primary focus has been landscapes and animals but I have painted a variety of different subjects. My artistic journey started as a form of therapy which evolved into a desire to transport the viewer into the source of the inspiration. Almost as if the subject was taken by photo by the viewer but with a painterly feel. I've learned from watching YouTubers such as Michael James Smith, Andrew Tischler, Carla Grace and Chuck Black.
