Ray Fedorchak profile picture

I have been a pastel painter since the mid seventies. The color intensity that the medium provides never ceases to inspire me.

I am influenced by Edgar Degas and his contemporaries in the Impressionist tradition.

I have attended classes and workshops with several nationally renowned pastel masters. Most notable are Daniel Greene and Albert Handel.

I am a founding member of the Pastel Society of San Diego, and was the cover artist for the "Pastel Journal." I have been featured in many exhibitions, and my work is in many private collections. I am a member of the Fallbrook Art Association.
