Carol paints the places where we live, and the places which we leave behind; the seeds we sow, and the fallow fields. Color is the language she uses to convey each place, each personal choice of home.
"Most of my paintings have a path…. A road, a river,
… a place from which to start the adventure.
Sometimes the path ends, showing the destination, but not there.
Sometimes the path disappears, leaving a mystery!
Sometimes, though the destination is there,… ..a tree, a town, a shore,
…there still remains the question, proceed or withdraw?
The path, and the question, are always in my mind."
