My art and design education has come from a variety of sources. I have taken college level courses in design, ceramics and drawing and have done many ‘crafts’ along the way. More recently, I have taken workshops in Taos, NM hand-working silver for jewelry and fold forming copper in Fallbrook.
I enjoy combining hand-worked sterling silver and other metal elements with beads and stones in my work. The silver jewelry pieces and ornamented boxes I have been creating are usually inspired by the beads or stones I intend to use and also by textures and forms found in nature.
