Teri  Starkweather profile picture

Teri Starkweather began her art education at Art Center College of Design in California as a painting major. After earning a BFA, she worked as a scenic artist for television and as an art teacher, teaching Photoshop and painting.

She later began painting and exhibiting in the 1990s while living in Los Angeles, California.  

Teri has won many awards including the American Artist cover competition in 2010.  She has exhibited her work at the Florence Biennial in Italy and in China. She had an exhibit at James Gray gallery in Santa Monica in 2011 and participated in the Laguna Beach Festival of Art in 2015. She has exhibited at the Springfield Art Museum, Westmont Museum of Art, Lancaster Museum of Art, Riverside Art Museum, Downey Museum of Art, Brand Library gallery in Burbank and Brea Gallery, California.
