Artist Profile

Barbara grew up in the artist community of Ojai, California. From a young age, she was surrounded by artists and craftsmen. Her father, a naturalist, instilled a great appreciation and passion for nature which continually inspires many of her paintings. Barbara attended Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo and graduated with a degree in applied art and design. She has experience painting in a variety of mediums including watercolor, oil, and acrylic. She currently lives happily painting in Poway, California with her husband, two children and their dog Riley.
