Artist Profile

I am Diana Prout from Ramona, California. Originally, from the northeast, my inspiration is a combination of childhood memories and appreciating nature’s beauty. My current inspiration is California's beautiful landscapes and swimming. At an early age, I started my artistic journey with watercolor and recently transitioned to the vibrancy of soft pastels. Through using soft pastel on various surfaces, I focus on using impressionist techniques. I like my work to capture the personality of the subject and the story behind the painting. I am thankful to use the gift that Jesus has given me!
