Join Instructor Marsha Orr for a study in contrasts. Weaving this dramatic basket starts with a round woven base and transitions to a twill on the sides. Marsha will guide you on all weaving techniques including twining, 3-Rod wale, over-under interrupted, and the final flourish: a beautiful, braided rim. All materials are included with your choice of accent reed colors whether you prefer natural or vibrant tones to create one 6”x7” Lacey Basket. This gorgeous basket is perfect for flowers, dried floral arrangements or as beautiful basketry art to adorn your home décor. Beginners are welcome!
Supplies Students Bring: Sturdy scissors, old towel, spray bottle, waterproof measuring tape or ruler & (optional) snack and personal water bottle.
