Karen Moreland (Escondido, California)
Creating art for me is a reflective exercise. It's a yearning to keep loved ones, cherished places, life experiences close. I may create to stave off death, or to embrace life. In my twenties, I worked in glass exploring color and line and showing in what is now the Off Track Gallery in Del Mar. Although I began painting in oils at sixteen, my serious work began in my forties. Today, I have work in several restaurants and businesses including Delight of France and Vincent's, on Grand Avenue in Escondido. I enjoy coloring life. Contact me for sales and prices.
